Offering catered day tours and camps at certain times of the year, visitors would see wildlife, cattle station activities and learn about sustainable beef production in the rangelands. A passionate advocate for Landcare, Roger Landsberg was QLD Primary Producer of the Year in 2010, so tour groups would be exposed to the more educational aspects of rangeland management. Excursions and camps can be tailored to suit your needs. A 20 year involvement with the tourism industry has enabled the Landsberg family to provide a safe, enjoyable learning environment for all ages and groups from bird-watchers to school children or international guests. During winter months, the organic garden provides fresh produce to add to their comprehensive menu. The family offers a variety of outdoor activities, such as a half day tour, outback surf carnival, water divining, whipcracking, a campfire and an authentic bushdance. Facilities include: an above ground swimming pool, a male/female accommodation shed, volleyball, basketball and football areas and a separate accommodation cottage is available for adults that sleeps 6 single and one double. Wambiana has been owned by the Lyons family for over 100 years and has a wealth of history, reflected in some of the historical buildings. Farm tours and overnight stays may be available for adult groups, depending on group size and availability throughout the year. Farm tours may be tailored to suit the needs and budget of the group. The Lyons family provide wholesome, home-cooked meals and special dietary requirements can be catered for.
